Might be time to watch Twin Peaks again

I think it must be at least three years since I watched the Twin Peaks series. Surely it must be time to watch it again?

Twin Peaks would have to be in my Top Ten of best all time TV series.

I keep waiting for some studio, or even David Lynch himself (the creator and director of many of the episodes), to produce a digitally enhanced pan’n’scan 16:9 edition of seasons 1 and 2.

The problem is probably that the audience for a 16:9 digitally enhanced edition of Twin Peaks is not that big so it is unlikely to recover the cost of doing it. It would need to be a labour of love rather than a money making exercise.

Secondly, I have read that David Lynch thinks a 16:9 edition would spoil the original ambiance and atmosphere.
