The No Agenda Show—The Best Podcast in the Universe
I have been listening to the No Agenda podcast for at least six years, and maybe a year more than that.
No Agenda is Adam Curry (the “Crackpot”) and John C. Dvorak (the killer of buzz, or “Buzzkill”). Adam and John, with input and assistance from their numerous producers all over the world, try and get under the news. They try and see what is the real story behind many of the mainline, and not so mainline, news headlines.
Adam and John refer to this as deconstructing the news, in that they kind of tease it apart in order that light can shine on parts of the cryptic weave that is holding it together. Seeking out the hidden threads in the fabric.
Adams’s background is in media and broadcasting. You can find out more about him on Wikipedia here.
John C. Dvorak will generally be known by most people who have worked in IT for at least 20 years as he is/was a columnist and broadcaster in the computing industry. He used to be a regular on This Week in Tech (TWiT). Find out more about John on Wikipedia here.
Some might call No Agenda a conspiracy show as a number of conspiracy theories are often tossed back and forth in the deconstructions. But I think it is fair to say that their insights and conclusions on many topics are closer to the truth more often than not.
Listeners to the podcast are encouraged to donate in order to keep the show going and keep it free from the manacles of having to use paid commercial advertising. Listeners who donate US$1,000 over a period of time get to be become Knights in No Agenda land and are bestowed with the title “Sir”. Ladies become a “Dame”.
Listeners who donate over US$200 for any particular episode become bona-fide producers of that episode of No Agenda.
Most well know podcast applications stream the No Agenda show, including Spotify and Stitcher. Or you can go to the No Agenda Show Site (here) and stream podcasts.
There are two shows a week (produced on Thu and Sun—US times). Each ‘Show’ tends to go for about three hours.

When I was doing Drive-in/Drive-out (DIDO) to Collie a number of years ago, I used to listen to No Agenda on the long drives down and back. These days I listen to No Agenda when trying to get to sleep each night. This means I often have to listen to it over two or three, or even four, night. But that is okay.
