Cute Babe 007: By Request—Amanda Seyfried
Featuring Amanda as one of Abalook’s Cute Babes was suggested by an associate and as he has already sent me two of his favourite pictures of Amanda I thought I might as well do it this morning.
Fortunately it seems that Amanda has done a lot of glamour modelling work in between movies so there is no shortage of great pictures of her for the experienced Web searcher to find. The hardest part is deciding which six or so pictures to freshen up and use for the posting.
I decided to use the picture above because I like the effect of seeing her behind that screen mesh and also her long tresses look awesome.
I have no idea what movie the following still is from but maybe I should find out. Based on this picture it could be worth watching.
The next picture is one I really like. It has so much going on that works for me. Firstly her pose and especially that she is looking down. We actually cannot see her eyes, which is normally a big no-no when posing a model. Then there is that soft subtle golden glow the picture has about it that is coming from her tresses; and is enhanced by her pale skin (but then I am very much into pale ‘English rose’ type skin). Next there is the all over pale whiteness of the ‘background’, except if you look real hard you can just make out the sheets behind her in the bed. And finally there is her sensual red lipstick—which you sort of notice last as you scan the image but when you notice it then it takes over visually.
A great capture by the photographer. Worthy of being printed on canvas and put on a wall. I hope I have done it justice with my border treatment which starts off with a 4 pixel ‘gold’ stroke sampled from her hair, then a 14 pixel red stroke sampled from her lips, and finally a very thin 2 pixel white stripe on the outer edge to ‘finish it off’ and compliment all the white in the image.
This next image is from a few adverts Amanda did for Christian Louboutin heels. The main front flash has been purposely over powered which has resulted in Amanda’s skin being ‘burnt’ out (as us photographers put it). This means that the the detail in the light areas, such as Amanda’s skin, has been lost. Also the saturation has been increased in the post processing. Even so the resulting image works very well.
The shoes featured are Louboutin’s Disconoeud featuring a 13.5 cm heel and a 3 cm platform. So any girl wearing these is going to get a whopping 16.5 cm (6.5”) lift—assuming they have the US$995 needed to buy a pair. Just imagine, for the cost of these heels you could be a pretty useful notebook computer!
If there is anyone out there who remembers her, Amanda sort of reminds me a bit of Lysette Anthony. Except, from memory, Lysette usually had dark hair but I think she went blonde at one stage. I wonder what happened to Lysette Anthony? I must look her up in the ‘book of knowledge’ (Wikipedia) one day.
So now I get to the point of trying to work out what to post as my last image of Amanda. With so many images on the InterWeb to pick from it is hard to decide what will be the last picture to post.
Despite the fact that landscape orientation images don’t tend to work in blog postings (due to the limited width available) in the end I decided to finish with this modelling shot of Amanda when she was a fresh-faced starry-eyed teen. And because it looks better bigger the picture below links to a much bigger version (1920 x 1200) in the Abalook SmugMug folio (no password required).
