First Aid Kit are coming to WA

There I was at 12:30 a.m. (or 0:30 a.m. for those that prefer it written like that)  just browsing around the Internet on my new Galaxy Tab 7 and I picked up this tiny hint buried away on the Triple J site. Something about First Aid Kit coming to Australia again early next year.

I didn’t pay it too much attention. Initially I figured they would be going to the east coast, as usual. But then I saw Busselton mentioned.

Now it got my attention.

Was there a Busselton on the east coast? Or were they talking about ‘our’ Busselton?

I dug deeper.

Yes. It turned out that First Aid Kit will be performing at the Southbound Festival to be held in Busselton, here in Western Australia, at the Sir Stewart Bovell Park, on the 4th and 5th of January 2013.

There is obviously no way I would or could go but even so there is something exciting about knowing First Aid Kit will be visiting WA.

And yes, I turned my main computer on at 12:30 a.m. just to post this blog. I really like the haunting folk sound of First Aid Kit. I have both their CDs and play them regularly on my two hour trips back and forth to my work.
