30 Consecutive Days with Over 100 Uniques

Abalook Site Stats for DecemberI just had to show you this. If you look at the unique column in the image at right you will notice that there are 30 continuous days from the 12th of December through to the 10th of January where the number of visitors to my site was over 100.

This is the first time this has happened.

The lowest count of 107 happened on the 1st of January. I even got 122 unique visitors on Xmas day when everyone should have been really busy doing Xmas stuff and not surfing around the Web.

There was even one day, the 21st of December, where the number of unique visitors actually bobbed up over 200 and hit 205.

My average number of unique visitors per day is currently sitting at 144 which is well over my ‘normal’ average of around 65.

As I generally always say; this is seriously pathetic compared to most other blog sites and especially for a blog site that has been going for about 2.5 years (next month). But for now I think it is enough to keep me interested enough to keep keying up the postings even though I think my wife thinks I am mad for putting so much time into something so few (relatively speaking) are looking at; and which makes no money.

I have a few ideas for the new Year. I am thinking of dropping the ABotM (Abalook Babe of the Month) postings because they take so long to research, then edit up the images, and then put the posting together. Also no ABotM posting has ever had very high view numbers.

As I surf around the Web I often find high quality (technically speaking) pictures of models and celebrities. I am thinking I will just post these picture up with often only a single picture per posting. Also they will have a much shorter narrative and in some cases maybe even no narrative at all.

If you have any ideas for articles I can research and post that other people are likely to find interesting then please post a comment and let me know.
