Posting for 1,000 Days (on the 14th May 2012)

1000daysI just checked my calendar in Microsoft Outlook and I notice that I missed a milestone day ten days ago on the 14th of May. On the 14th of May 2012 I have (had) been posting to my site for 1,000 days.

That’s what happens when you don’t go into your calendar in Outlook on a regular basis. You miss seeing little reminders that you have put in there to yourself to remind you of things you might forget. I should have put the reminder in my work Outlook calendar because I check that every working day. But, and this should be quite obvious now, I don’t go into my home Outlook calendar quite so often.

So anyway, on the 14th of May 2012 I had been posting to my site for 1,000 days—which is more or less 2.75 years.

When I put that reminder into Outlook I had planned to do some kind of special posting on that day. I don’t now what, but something ‘special’. But now that it turns out that I overlooked it then it would seem a bit silly to post something ‘special’. Also, as it happens, I don’t have anything special that I can think of to post.

I have put in another reminder for my three year posting anniversary. I will try and not miss that; and I will try and work out a special posting for then.
