USA Number One in All Categories

Found the following over at GraphJam. While it is more or less supposed to be humorous I am reasonably sure that the base data is real and I suspect it is from either 2008 or 2009.

The only place Australia makes the Top 4 is in rapes; which is a good thing—not that we make the Top 4 in relative numbers of rapes but that we only make it into one of the Top 4 lists.

I suspect that these numbers are relative to the population (i.e., per capita numbers). I make this assumption because I know something about the skyrocketing rape numbers in South Africa due to a recent article about this on SkyNews. In South Africa in 2010 about 60 women were raped every hour (being 550,000 reported).
