Titbit: Schedule is Pronounced ‘skej-yool’

I have no idea where it comes from but lately you hear more and more people pronouncing the word ‘schedule’ incorrectly.

Schedule is pronounced as ‘skej-yool’, much like school is pronounced ‘skool’.

In my line of work, in any given month, I am likely to be project managing one or two projects as well as being a team member of one or two other projects. Life is like that in IT.

At meetings when I hear someone say ‘shed-yool’ when they were trying to say ‘skej-yool’ it makes my brain hurt and it takes all my self control not to correct them.

Just felt compelled to share that.

This stuff is important.
