iPhone 5: Maybe in September (This Year)
I don’t have an iPhone. My son does. Has has an iPhone 4.
I have a Motorola Defy—as those who read my earlier article on that subject will know. So far I am very happy with the Defy; but my main goal was to get a smartphone that was actually really good as a phone and the Defy comes with one of the best ‘grey zone’ ratings around. This means it works better than most phones in ‘grey zones’ (i.e., weak mobile phone cell reception zones). It actually works every time perfectly when used inside my tin roof house in this hilly area where no mobile phone cells seem to reach. It really does. Every time. Clear as a bell. So right there I am happy to award it the full five stars. The four day battery life, unscratchable gorilla glass, and weartherproof ruggedised housing are just icing on the cake.
But for those addicted to the iPhone it seems that the smart money is being bet on the the iPhone 5 being released in September and there are lots of rumours around about what it will and won’t have. I just came across one neatly rolled-up collection of rumours at StumbleUpon and thought I would share the link.

So there. Don’t let it be said that I never post anything about Apple stuff!
