Titbit: Windows 8 Beta on Schedule for Sept

It seems that the next version of Microsoft Windows, being referred to as Windows 8 by most Microsoft followers (although with Microsoft you never know what they are going to call each release of Windows), is coming along according to plan.

Windows 8 is rumoured to contain a lot of changes around making it more suitable for use on tablet style computers including the incorporation of a re-vamped touch-screen interface.

At this stage Microsoft are on target to release Windows 8 (or Windows Next as some people are calling it) mid-2012. The beta release for developers is scheduled for September (this year).
