Surprisingly Comfortable Anime Mouse Mat with Wrist Rest
My son went to an Anime convention (of sorts) today over in Malaga. He said it was the best and he will ‘for sure’ be going again whenever they hold another one.
It seems the place was filled with hot babes, especially hot Asian babes, and some dudes, dressed as their favourite Anime comic, TV, and movie characters—of which there are hundreds.
For anyone who has no idea what an Anime character might look like I have posted a couple of examples—found very quickly on the Web—so that you can get the idea.
My son didn’t take any pictures while he was there so, like me, you will just have to try and imagine what the girls at the convention looked like dressed as their favourite Anime person.
It seems a lot of the girls were providing free hugs and my son assures me that he got his full allotment of hugs—even from at least one girl there who was not actually giving out free hugs.
But this post is not so much about Anime characters and free hugs. It was supposed to be about the awesome mouse mat that my son picked up (bought) there.
I have used a mouse mat with a wrist rest built in for the last 20 years or so. Back when I was about 30 I developed seriously bad RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) from working with computers 8 to 10 hours a day. It took about two years to fully recover from the problem and part of that recovery required using a wrist rest with the keyboard and wrist rest with the mouse. My current mouse mat wrist rest is made by Fellowes and it basically works okay. But for some reason it does not seem to work anywhere near as well as the Anime-imprinted mouse mat that my son picked up at the convention.
Following is a picture of the mouse pad with wrist rest I am talking about.
For some reason it feels very comfortable.
