Everyone kind of owes the Government $30,000

According to the Australian Debt Clock the combined national and state governments of Australia are $742 billion dollars in debt.

Every day this debt goes up by $91 million in interest payable.

Never before in the history of the country have we been anywhere near this deep in relative debt.

But this could all be fixed if every man, woman, and child of us 24,000,000 Australians were to send the sate and national Governments $30,000 tomorrow.

Okay. We can't expect toddlers and such to send in any money. So all of us over 16 need to send in about $40,000 to fix things up. Oh, and you can't borrow in order to do this or it will just make things worse.

Anyone but me see a bit of problem here?
