Trying out Hogs 3 American-style Bourbon
Generally when I am stocking up my liquor supply, which usually means buying a fresh bottle of Bourbon and a half dozen bottles of red wine to get me through the week, I just get my usual Jim Beam. But today I was in a rare adventurous kind of mood and I spotted the Hogs 3 American-style.
As you can see by the bottle, with this picture taken about an hour after I purchased it, I am not finding too much wrong with Hogs 3. I will certainly be buying it again.
I find it smoother than Jim Beam with a smoky taste in the mouth and then a kind of very dry cider after taste about 15 seconds after it has gone down. Very pleasant.
