Gate Series: Using a handy tree as a strainer post
As I have mentioned before, it is not easy taking pictures of gates. Well, to be fair, the actual taking of the pictures is not too hard. The trick is to spot likely subjects as you zoom past them at about 100 kph.
What caught my eye about this gate was that the farmer has used the big tree on the right-hand side as part of the fence line, and as the strainer.

Following is a close-up of the tree on the right-hand side.
Notice that the frame the gate is hung from is actually coach-bolted into the tree trunk.
