Microsoft's big 'New Devices' event tomorrow night

Billed as one of Microsoft's single biggest announcement events, tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. Perth time Microsoft are holding their 'New Devices' event in New York. Even though I have to get up at 5:50 a.m. the next morning to get ready to go to work you can bet that I will be watching the event online.

Microsoft are expected to announce a grab-bag of new devices during the two hour event, most likely including:

• The new Band 2 smart watch.
• The new 950 and 950XL smartphones featuring Windows 10 Phone (or is it Windows Phone 10?).
• The upgraded Surface Pro 3, expected to be called the Surface Pro 4, running Window 10 (obviously).
• Possibly a new 14" size Surface Pro.
• Possibly a Surface Pro mini.
• A Continuum dock for the 950XL smartphone.
• Maybe a new format Surface smartphone, which will provide Windows 10 in a phone (as opposed to Windows Phone 10).
• A new Skype-aligned speaker for use in conference room situations.
